Peter Jackson has finally released the full cast of The Hobbit, and the information is making its rounds around the internet. Martin Freeman, Arthur Dent in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and Dr. John Watson in the BBC’s Sherlock, will play the lead role of Bilbo Baggins. Also, Richard Armitage (Guy of Gisborne in the BBC’s 2006 Robin Hood series) will play Thorin Oakenshield.

The Hobbit will begin filming this coming February, and will be directed by Peter Jackson.
