Tamora Pierce‘s new book Melting Stones is now available in hardcover in the U.S. and Canada, according to the author’s website.

The book was released over a year ago as an audio book, which has since won a few awards. It is just now being released in print format.

This is a continuation of Pierce’s Circle of Magic series which has been in progress off-and-on for several years. The first trilogy, Circle of Magic, was squarely targetted at the eleven and under audience, though later books (namely as the Circle Opens trilogy and the mammoth The Will of the Empress book) sort of grew with the readers. Hopefully this book, set ten years after The Will of the Empress, will continue that trend.
