Information about Brandon Sanderson’s new Mistborn novel are starting to surface. The Alloy of Law, set 300 years after the Mistborn trilogy, is set in a world transforming from a medieval-style setting to something more along the lines of the 1800s. Electric lighting and railroads have come to Scadrial, but the Allomancers and Feruchemists haven’t gone anywhere. (Sanderson, on Twitter, was talking about writing a Mistborn gunfight…)
Tor has posted the cover art as well as a short synopsis over at Tor.com.
The fourth Mistborn book is currently scheduled for a November release, and the author has hinted about plans for three more to follow.

That’s awesome! His MistBorn series was one of the best I’ve ever read.

There is a little bit more news about it from last November: http://www.fantasyfolder.com/n.....e-as-well/
So, we’re getting a standalone sequel this November (barring any delays) and an eventual trilogy set after the Alloy of Law.
I don’t know how he manages to be so prolific. Between Mistborn, Wheel of Time, The Way of Kings and the occasional standalone novel he has to be writing 26 hours a day or something.
